Grid Challenge

For maths today we needed to get into partners and complete a grid challenge. I worked with one of my best friends fine. To play this game you need a partner, two dice's, and paper with grid lines. The paper has to be separated so you each have an equal side of the paper. When the game begins, one player rolls both dice and whatever number it rolls on you have to create that on the paper. 'Eg; one dice rolled 3 the other rolled 4. On your paper you create a square, rectangle, or any shape that goes 3 across and 4 down, or 4 across and 3 down.' Inside the shape you write the multiplication. It's a race between you and your partner to see who can fill up their side of the grid first. Unfortunately, I lost that time. BUT, only by a few. It was a fun and creative way to do maths.
