Thea Stilton and the Mystery in Paris

When Collete invites her friends to come home with her to Paris for spring break, the five mice are delighted. While they're in France, they'll get to attend Collete's fashion-designer cousin Julie's runway show at the Eiffel Tower. But soon after the Thea Sisters arrive, Julie's designs are stolen. The Thea Sisters follow the thief to an old theater. Once inside they everything becomes confusing.With no light, you can barely see. Luckily they had a tracking device in one of the clothes that the thief stole. Finally they found the thief which was Julie's professor. He explained that Julie's dress was a map that would lead to a famous mans designs. The Thea Sisters decided to help Julie design another costume for the runway. In the end, Julie's design was the best.

My ending

Julie smiled and squeezed the professor's paw. "All is forgiven" Julie said. Julie's collection was more amazing than before, because it was made with love. The next day the Thea Sisters left for Whale Island (their home). Before they left, Julie gave each of the Thea Sisters their own dress from her collection. 

I like my ending better because the Thea Sisters got their own dress from Julie's collection which they helped make.

A flock of sheep at Nicky's family's Australian ranch was losing all its wool, and no one knew why. Nicky and her friends the Thea Sisters headed to Australia and set off on a tour of the whole country in search of clues. Nicky and her friends found out that their neighbor had poisoned the sheep's food. Nicky and her friends go on a search for family elders who know how to cure the sheep. Once they had found the elders they were told the cure was in Nicky's locket. Inside her locket was seeds you needed to boil and feed to the sheep. Nicky and her friends returned to the ranch and did exactly what the elders said. The next day the sheep's wool started to grow back. This was an adventure the Thea Sisters would remember.

My ending 

It was an adventure none of the mouselings would ever forget. Nicky's grandmother thanked the Thea Sisters and gave each of them a special necklace made especially for them. Each of their necklaces had a photo of the Thea Sisters inside, each necklace was made to fit their personality as in their favorite colour. The next day, the five friends left for Mouseford Academy. 

I like my ending better because the Thea Sisters got a special necklace that would remind them or their journey to Australia.

The Thea Sisters are off to Japan on a cultural exchange program. While they're busy exploring Kyoto and admiring  the beautiful cherry blossoms, a valuable item is stolen from their friend Kumi's family. Kumi and the Thea Sisters follow mysterious ninjas to the home of one of the buyers of their stolen family treasure. The whole house is filled with stolen Japanese treasures. In one of the rooms they had found Kumi's father tied to a chair. They quickly cut him loose. Once they had done that they found the stolen treasure in the arms of Ishikuro. He had found out that Thea Stilton and Sakura had broken into his house, so he grabbed the treasure and started running for his life. Luckily Pam was able to tackle Ishikuro and return the family treasure to Mr Nakamura.

My ending

Kumi and Sakura took Thea in as an honored guest and helped her learn the dance, even Holger danced in the parade. Mr Nakamura watched from afar, proud of his daughter's talent. After the parade had had finished, Mr Nakamura thanked the Thea Sisters and presented them with a gift. It was a traditional kimono. Pam, Paulina, Nicky, Collete and Violet all got their own kimono. The Thea Sisters were overwhelmed by the kimono's beauty. The Thea Sisters had thanked Mr Nakamura and said goodbye to Sakura and Holger. At 8:00pm the Thea Sisters flight took off. The best friends waved through the small airplane window and smiled. 

I like my ending better because in the book the Thea Sisters did not get a reward for their courage and braveness. After all, they did save Mr Nakamura's life.

The Thea Sisters are visiting friends at lively festival in Spain. But the theft of a precious fan turns their trip into an investigation! They end up hot on the trail of a secret treasure ... but they're not the only ones searching for it. The Thea Sisters follow the trail of mystery and end up finding their friends cousin right in the middle of the treasure. The cousins decides to work together to find their great great great grandmothers treasure. The treasure that the grandmother had left was a bunch of unpublished songs. Along with the songs the grandmother had left a letter. She had believed that her daughters had worked together to find her treasure since they had fought when they were little and never became friends, her mother thought that her treasure would reunite them. Even if her treasure didn't reunite her daughters the cousins believed they should reunite.

My ending

The Thea Sisters were so happy that they were able to reunite a family. They danced the night away as long as they could. Once the night had ended the Thea sisters decided to stay in Spain for another few days, they wanted to discover Spain's treasures and look at all of their beautiful flowers. 4 days passed by, the Thea Sisters said their goodbyes and took off. This was an amazing experience for the 5 friends.

I like my ending better because after the Thea Sisters reunited the family they returned home with 6 days of the holiday to spare. Wouldn't you stay for another couple of days?

Thea Stilton and the start castaways

The Thea Sisters are headed on a fabulous mission ... to the moon! After much preparation, the Thea sisters blast off. But when they arrive at their lunar vacation spot, things start to go wrong, including spaceship wrecks and uncontrollable robots. The Thea Sisters have found out who had changed the robots chips from blue to red. The only way they can make the robots calm down is to change their chips to blue. But they do not know where Sebastian had hid the chips. The Thea Sisters had found a way to mess with Sebastian's uniform to make him float to the top of the roof. While he was floating Pam had found the blue chips in his coat. Everyone, quickly helped the Thea Sisters change the robots chips to blue. Once they had reached earth Sebastian was taken under custody. The Thea Sisters were glad they had made it safely back to earth, and to make it even better they were back a cake the shape of the moon with a chocolate rocket on top.

My ending

Sebastian was under arrest and taken back to earth. Once the Thea Sisters had returned to earth they were held a "welcome home" party. Everyone was so glad that they had returned safely. The Thea sisters were so excited to tell Thea their adventure to the moon. The Thea Sisters never wanted to forget this moment so they recorded down their adventure in a journal that they would keep forever.

I like my ending better because the The Sisters just returned to earth, had their "welcome home" party and got on with their lives like nothing happened. If I were them I would cherish our adventures and the best way to do that is to record it down on a journal.

Duffy assembly

At the Duffy assembly on Wednesday we had a few visitors come and talk to us. It was really fun because some people were chosen to act out some stories like the "gingerbread man". I was chosen to be papa mouse in one of the stories. It was really fun and funny. At the end of a story 1 of the visitors would give us feedback. It was a fantastic experience and I hope that they are back next year.

the Kingdom of Fantasy

Geronimo Stilton never expected to find a golden staircase in his attic. But one day he did! At the top of the stairs, there was a door. And beyond the door was a world he could have ever imagined - the Kingdom of Fantasy! Geronimo Stilton set off an incredible adventure to save the Queen of Fairies. Along the way, he had to face giant scorpions, witches, sea serpents, annoying pixies and dozens of other fantastical creatures. During his journey he had picked up a few friends to guide him through the different kingdoms. Geronimo and his 7 friends from nearly each Kingdom decided to name themselves as the "Order of the Fairy Queen". At the start of his journey he had brought along a music box that found in his attic which belonged to Queen Blossom. Every time they had crossed through a door to another Kingdom the music box would play a note and a present would appear. The music box is special box which every time Geronimo and his friends cross into a kingdom the box knows what would be a good peace offering present to the creatures and in return for the present the creatures would show Geronimo the next door to the other Kingdom.

Tittle - The Kingdom of Fantasy

My type of ending

Geronimo Stilton had brought Queen Blossom/Queen of the fairies to life. Queen blossom thanked Geronimo Stilton and granted him with 1 wish. Anything he wanted, Queen Blossom would grant it. There was one thing Geronimo Stilton wanted,  it was to go home. This was a really hard decision for Geronimo because he couldn't decide between going home or staying in the kingdom of fairies. The kingdom of fairies was a beautiful place, everyone in the kingdom was nice, honest and gentle. At home, he had his family. His sister, brother and nephew. Geronimo came to a decision and decided to stay in the kingdom of fairies. After all, Geronimo didn't live with his relatives. He lived on his own in an apartment. Geronimo Stilton lived a happy and joyful life in the kingdom of fairies.

I like my ending better because in the story he decides to go home. If I were him I would stay because the Kingdom of Fairies is beautiful and the people are kind. Who would pass an opportunity like that. I sure wouldn't.

Identity dance crew visit

Huge thank you to identity dance crew who performed for our school.  We enjoyed watching them dance. Identity dance crew gave out an important message. The message was to never give up on your dream and don't let anyone stand in your way of doing that. My favourite part of the performance was when they did flips and really cool tricks. At some point of their performance they chose a few people from the audience do dance. The best dancer wins a t-shirt. Amato won.

My art reflection

Art reflection

For art, my partner Kyra and I used a Maori design and turned it into a translation design. Translation means your sliding the exact same picture across making two of them. Kyra chose to colour with  cool colours and I chose to colour with warm colours. Red, orange, yellow and gold are warm colours and light blue, dark blue, light green and dark green are cool colours. When we had finished colouring our design, we needed to glue them onto black paper. We needed to measure 1 cm of space above our artwork and below. I liked how my partner and I, art turned out because the shapes looked exactly the same and the colors made our art stand out.

Today room 9 had tuakana teina time with room 1. This is a photo of me playing with a room 1 kid. I played starfall with him. Starfall is and educational site that helps kids get better in their reading, writing and maths.

My voice thread

This is my voice thread. In my voice thread I have 3 slides. My first slide has a recording of poem, my second and third slide has a screen shot of my rubric and some feedback and feedforward.

My poetry rubric evaluation

The name of my poem was All my great excuses. My assessor was Oxsanah.  When I was performing I used lots of expression, eye contact and volume. I also memorized my poem off by heart.
